Twin Lakes Fishing Report
8-16-2020
Twin Lakes Resort Staff
As another week of Fishing on lower twin passes. Fish numbers are down but size is up. A handful of 3lb rainbows came in on nightcrawlers, fished off the bottom in 50’ of water. Trolling or bait, going deep is the best way to snag yourself a fish. Surface temperature is 65. The inlets, springs and creeks running into lower are at a trickle. This means fish are on the move for food and cooler water. The usual “hotspots” are constantly changing. Although the fish seem to be hanging out on the south,Southwest shorelines at a depth of 25’- bottom. Nightcrawlers, powerbait, mini jigs, and garlic scents still seem to be best.
