August 6, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

08/08/2020
The Tomahawk called in with 1 Bluefin at 35lbs on their 1.5 day. They are still fishing seeing good signs of fish. 

The Western Star caught 17 Reds and 20 Rockfish for 6 anglers on their 3/4 Day local trip. 

The Liberty called in with 4 Yellowfin, 1 Dorado, and 1 Yellowtail on their overnight trip. 

The Pacific Dawn caught 1 Dorado for 19 anglers on an Overnight Trip. 

The Dolphin AM trip caught 65 Rockfish and 3 Whitefish for 40 anglers. 

The Islander returned with 7 Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for their 1.5 day trip.

The Pacific Queen returned from their 3.5 day trip with 27 Bluefin (6@ 140 - 205 lbs.), 26 Yellowfin Tuna, and 76 Yellowtail (15 - 30 lbs.) for 22 anglers.

08/07/2020
The Dolphin AM caught 1 Yellowtail, 48 Rockfish, 9 Calico Bass, 2 Sand Bass, 4 Sculpin, 6 Sheephead, and 2 Bonito for 41 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM caught 22 Calico Bass (75 RELEASED), and 6 Rockfish for 37 anglers. 

The Liberty finished with 1 Yellowfin Tuna for their Fullday trip with 38 anglers.

The Outrider called in with 9 Bluefin Tuna (up to 40 lbs.) and 5 Yellowfin Tuna (up to 45 lbs.) for 11 passengers. 

The Fortune called in from their 2-Day Privately Chartered Trip with 15 Bluefin Tuna and 7 Yellowfin Tuna for 17 anglers.

The Condor returned with 2 Yellowfin Tuna on their 1.5-Day Trip.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
