Monday early afternoon report

Big Hungry

The Sauerfish called in limits of Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowtail for 6 anglers on their 1.5-day charter!

Captain Steve P. on the Mission Belle just called in from their full day trip. They have caught 19 Yellowfin Tuna, 2 Bluefin Tuna, and 15 Yellowtail so far today. He also reported flat calm weather and they still have plenty of time left in the day to add on to the count. Check back later for a final count.

The T-Bird returned from a 1.5 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna, 3 Yellowfin Tuna and 2 Yellowtail for 12 passengers.

The Pacific Islander returned from a 2.5 day trip with 22 Bluefin Tuna (20# to 65#) and 52 Yellowtail (25# to 45#) for 14 passengers  


Upcoming trips:

Departing tomorrow morning:

The  Point Loma has a full day trip departing at 6:00 am. Ticket price is $225.00 and includes your fishing permit for Mexico. This trip is fishing offshore for Bluefin, Yellowfin and Yellowtail. Limited to 16 passengers max

                                              

Departing Tuesday night:

The  El Capitan has a 1.5 day trip departing at 8:00 pm. Ticket price is $445.00 and includes your meals. Limited to 18 passengers max

The  New Lo-An has a 1.5 day trip departing at 8:00 pm. Ticket price is $450.00 and includes meals and your fishing permit for Mexico.  This trip is a DEFINITE GO!!

New trips added:

The American Angler has added three new 1.5 day trips to their August schedule. Ticket price $525.00 and includes meals. Fishing permits are additional. Trips are limited to 24 passengers.  Local trips:

The Daily Double departs twice a day for ½ day trips to the local kelp beds. Departure times are 8:30 am and 3:00 pm.

The Point Loma has local ¾ day trips scheduled every day. Departure time is 6:30 am. No passport required for this trip.

The Mission Belle is currently running full day trips offshore. Departure time is 6:00 am. No passport required for this trip.


Some things to keep in mind in order to be able to go forward are that social distancing practices and safe medical practices must be adhered to and are as follows:

1. Any angler that has any cold or flu symptoms must stay at home.

2. All anglers must wear a mask that covers both mouth and nose.

3. Anglers must keep a minimum of a 6-foot distance at all times.

4. All anglers fishing on an Overnight trip or longer must bring their own pillow and blanket.
