A cold start to the day along the coast with water conditions that fell apart just before we reached our zone of choice. Taking off by 08:00 in search of we picked a nice score off a couple of different kelps on our way below. Most encouraging was a zone found late abounding with sign. No doubt that area will be getting more coverage on our way back north. The coast will again be our focus tomorrow seeking variety and perhaps some stationary fishing before we resume the effort offshore.
