Dockside Charters Staff

Fishing today for Rockfish and was scratchy at best but we are tenacious. We kept at it and were able to produce some decent catches. Thankfully the ocean was user friendly as can be. Crabbing continues to be good.

The Halibut fishermen did well today. Everyone got their fish including the crew. The grade was mixed but the big fish of the day was 52 inches, over 68 pounds. It was caught by a first time fisherman who said it was "a whole lot of work".

Salmon fishing continues to be slow. We had a boat out today that had only a few fish on and they were not able to bring one to the boat.
Will it get better? We just don't know.

Tuna are still out of range. We are watching diligently and will let you know when they get closer
