Bottom fishing and crabbing
Excellent fishing today where most boats got rockfish limits or very close to it. Not many Lingcod coming into the boats today but there were quite a few Cabezon caught. Crabbing continues to be very good but a little less then it has been but still very good.
Salmon
Salmon fishing continues to be very slow in the Depoe Bay area. To give you an idea on how slow it has been with a 21,000 fish quota for this summer’s selective Coho salmon fishery we have only caught just over 20% of the quota in our area from Cape Falcon to the Oregon/California border. Obviously it has not been a good year but we still have about three weeks to go in the season so we are still hoping for some good fishing.
If you would like to go fishing or whale watching with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (541) 765-2345.
