Our next available One Day trip will be aboard the Apollo, leaving Saturday and fishing Sunday. This trip is a DEFINITE RUN!. Trips are filling fast, so make your reservations now!

The Aztec checked in from the 1st day of a 3 day trip with 36 Bluefin tuna and 31 Yellowfin tuna for 18 anglers. Captain Greg reported about a 50/50 split on the fly-line to sinkered sardine rig with a great grade of tuna mostly in the 30-50 pound class.

The San Diego boated 13 Bluefin up to 80 pounds and 3 Yellowfin tuna on today's Full day trip. Most of the larger Bluefin have been hooked on the sardine sinker rig using at least 40# line.

UPDATE 11:45 AM The Tribute is up to 27 bluefin (25-70 pounds) and 19 yellowfin (25-30 pounds).

The Tribute just reported in from their 1.5 Day trip. They started off the day with 12 bluefin and 1 yellowfin, with fish in the 25-40 pound range.

We also had a couple of 1.5 Day trips return this morning with some nice counts:

  • The Pacifica returned with 43 bluefin and 27 yellowfin for their 26 anglers
  • The Cortez had 12 bluefin and 30 yellowfin for their 6 anglers!
