July 13, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.
7/20/2020
The Liberty caught 51 Bluefin and 29 Yellowfin on their full day trip for 37 anglers.
The Pacific Dawn caught 13 Bluefin Tuna and 6 Yellowfin on their Overnight trip with 11 anglers.
The Dolphin AM caught 179 Rockfish for 34 anglers.
The Dolphin PM caught 84 Reds and 106 Rockfish for 29 anglers.
The Islander called in with 26 Bluefin Tuna and 14 Yellowfin on their 1st day of a 2.5 day trip.
The Pacific Queen called in with 50 Bluefin Tuna and 20 Yellowfin Tuna between 25-45# on their 1.5 day trip.
The Pegasus called in with LIMITS of Bluefin (25-50#), and 45 Yellowfin (20-50#) on their 1.5 day trip for 14 anglers.
The Condor returned this AM with 13 Bluefin Tuna, 7 Yellowfin Tuna, and 3 Yellowtail for their 2.5 day trip.
The Outrider returned this AM with 8 Bluefin tuna and 2 Yellowfin tuna.
The Tomahawk returned this AM with 6 Bluefin, 3 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Bonito for their 1.5 day trip.

The Outrider called in with 8 Bluefin tuna and 2 Yellowfin tuna.
The Tomahawk finished with 6 Bluefin, 3 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Bonito for their 1.5 day trip.
The Dolphin PM caught 48 Rockfish, 4 White Seabass and 1 Calico Bass for 41 anglers.
The Pacific Dawn finished with 30 Bluefin Tuna up to 135 pounds and 5 Yellowfin tuna for their 2 day trip with 13 anglers.
The Liberty finished with 30 Bluefin Tuna, 10 Yellowfin Tuna, and 2 Yellowtail for 35 anglers and their full day trip. They recommend 40 and 50# setups with sinker rigs and colt snipers being most effective.
The Dolphin AM trip called in with 4 Whitefish and 82 Rockfish for 38 anglers.
The Western Star returned from a 1.5 day charter with 2 Bluefin Tuna (1@ 100lbs. and 1@ 120lbs.)
The Pacific Queen called in with 94 Bluefin Tuna (20-80#) 12 Yellowtail and 10 Yellowfin Tuna for Day 2 on their 2 Day trip for 28 anglers.
The Islander returned this morning from a 2.5 day charter with 26 Bluefin Tuna (30 to 120 lbs.) and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 24 anglers.
The Pegasus returned this morning from a 2.5 day charter with 20 Bluefin Tuna (20 to 125 lbs.), 3 Yellowfin Tuna, and 3 Yellowtail for 18 anglers
Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.
- Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks. They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.
As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
