July 1, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

7/04/2020
The Outrider called in with 5 Bluefin Tuna (150#) on their 1.5-day trip.

The Tomahawk called in with 1 Bluefin (90#), 9 Yellowtail, 1 Yellowfin (33#), and fish hanging on their 1.5 day trip. 

The Dolphin PM trip caught 31 Rockfish, 9 Sand Bass, 2 Calico Bass, and 5 Sculpin for 38 anglers. 

The Dolphin AM trip caught 59 Rockfish for 40 anglers.

The Pegasus called in with 5 Bluefin Tuna (120-140#) and reported great signs of fish for their 1.5-day trip.

The Excel called in with 6 Bluefin (140-240 lbs) on their 1.5 day trip for 29 anglers. 

The Shogun called with 53 Bluefin, 5 all over 100 pounds and 3 going. They are with 1-day range.

The LIberty finished with 6 Yellowtail, 55 Calico Bass 75 Whitefish, 25 Barracuda, 4 Bonito, and 15 Rockfish for 32 anglers. The Liberty will be fishing offshore starting  July 6th. They will be targeting Bluefin, Yellowfin, and Yellowtail. 

The Condor called in with 30 + Yellowtail on their 1.5-day trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned with 43 Bluefin Tuna, 68 Yellowtail, and 10 Yellowfin Tuna for their 3-day trip.

07/03/2020
Bight Sportfishing returned tonight with 3 Bluefin Tuna ( 2@160-190#) / (1@212#) from their Full Day Offshore trip.

The Dolphin PM trip caught 22 Calico Bass, 1 Sand Bass, and 7 Rockfish for 35 anglers.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 56 Calico Bass,1 Sand Bass, 9 Sheaphead, and 8 Rockfish for 36 anglers.

The Liberty caught 11 Yellowtail, 50 Calico Bass, 15 Barracuda, 1 Lingcod, and 25 Rockfish for 33 anglers on their Full Day trip. 

The Intrigue caught 29 Yellowtail for 6 anglers on their Full Day trip. 

The Condor returned with 126 Yellowtail and 3 Bluefin Tuna for 27 anglers on their 1.5-day trip. 

The Tomahawk returned with 35 Yellowtail for 25 anglers on their 1.5-day trip.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently

7/02/2020 The AM Dolphin caught 30 Calico Bass, 20 Rockfish, 1 Sculpin, and 1 Barracuda for 35 anglers.  The PM Dolphin caught 38 Calico Bass, 4 Sheep Head, 12 Rockfish, and 3 Sand Bass for 35 anglers.  The Liberty caught 24 Yellowtail, 95 Calico Bass, 1 Sand Bass, 53 Baracuda, 2 Sheephead, and 48 Rockfish for 32 anglers.  The Condor called in with 100 + Yellowtail and 3 Bluefin for 27 anglers.  The Tomahawk called in with 35 Yellowtail for 25 anglers.  The Shogun returned this AM with 33 Yellowtail, 6 Bluefin Tuna, and 7......
