Halibut Boats Offshore Did Very Well Today!

6-20-2020
Dockside Charters Staff

Our boats fishing the inside waters today had to work for what they got. Both the morning and afternoon trips produced about the same, in the range of 3/4 limits or a little better. The Ling Cod bite was also slow but a few nice ones hit the deck. Crab counts averaged 4 per person.

The Halibut boats offshore did very well. Conditions were pretty choppy because of southerly winds but everyone got their fish and they were a good grade too. The size ranged from 36 to 45 inches with only a few fish under 40 inches, all in all a great day of halibut fishing. The next All-Depth Halibut opener is July 9th, 10th and 11th.
