The fishing here is picking up very well with striper action up on Lake Mohave and here along the shores of the Colorado river. The small mouth activity up on Lake Mohave has been going well with anglers landing a few in the 4 pound range. I heard that the the z-mans ned rig and the jack hammer were producing the best. Our local angler Mike Ramsey was using anchovies and fishing from shore near the Davis dam on the Nevada side and landed a nice 6.82 pound striper at 27 and 1/4 inches. I did get word that near the poser lines a few stripers were being landed.

Here below the Davis dam the casinos are and community park were doing ok as far as the striper bite. Our local anglers Isaiah Gonzales and Scott pepper were fishing with anchovies at the end of Yale and landed a 2.96 pound striper at 20 and 1/2 inches. now this is priceless stuff Jake Anselmo took has sons Colin (5 years old and Hudson (2years old) out fishing on his boat. Jake usually fishes with glide baits or various lures and does well. On this time anchovies did the trick for Hudson as he got his first fish. and a very nice stringer they brought in to share.
