Week of 5/30-6/6
Fishing on lower twin has proven tricky for some and plentiful for others. With the freshly planted trophy size rainbows from desert springs fish hatchery, Trolling the east end is proving best for anglers, like Cameron from canyon country, Ca. Cameron was trolling an F-9 Fire Tiger Rapala by the dam when this 3lb rainbow struck.
Also here is Steve and Kat Sargent from Hollister,Ca. They nailed a couple of lunker rainbows while trolling red and gold speedy shiners. Kat’s fish weighing in at 6lbs and Steve’s fish just over 4lbs
The brown trout bite is still showing signs of life. This last week produced a couple of Browns weighing 5.5lbs and a nice 3lber. Both caught while trolling the deeper water at 30’ and 60’.
Robinson creek out of lower twin has been producing a variety of great fish. Including a 3lb rainbow and a bunch of browns that were c&r.
Top lures and baits.
