FISHING SEASON IS OPEN!

Update for Opening Day!
Mono County requested an early termination of the fishing season delay. This means that fishing season in Mono County is officially open as of today May 23rd. Crowley Lake remains closed to drive in traffic and motorized vessels until May 30th currently. All other waters in the county are now open.
We will be resuming our services beginning June 1st and are now taking bookings for that time. With zero fishing pressure this year, most areas have been fishing very well. The flip side of this is that there is no lodging available in Mono County until June 31st. All campgrounds in the area also remain closed.
We will be following all CDC and state regulations on our fishing trips. We want to keep our staff and customers safe and will be sanitizing all equipment before and after each trip. At this time, use of our waders will be suspended and customers must provide their own or they can rent them from Kittredge Sports in Mammoth Lakes. We will still be providing all rods, reels, and flies on your trip.
All customers will be required to wear a face-covering while on a guided trip and maintain an acceptable distance from each other. We know that the traditional face masks can be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods, so a sun gaiter or a bandana that covers the nose and mouth are an acceptable alternative. Hand sanitizer will also be available for use to all customers.
We are directing our customers to inquire in Bishop as there is now limited lodging reservations available. Please email us at sierradriftersgs@gmail.com for more information. Thanks and we hope to fish with you all soon!
Our flies are still available for purchase here for those that need to stock up for the new season.
Gift certificates are also available for purchase at a minimum of $50 and can be loaded to the amount of your choice.
