Got a chance to start the holiday weekend a little early, and it definitely paid off!  The storms on Monday and Tuesday slowed things down, but the Shad were back in action starting Wednesday evening.  Conditions are looking great for this weekend and the Shad are starting to really stack up!  Swinging flies with a S6 or T8 sink tip is my favorite way to catch them.. They are also taking flies dead-drifted under an indicator.  I still have availability for trips this season.
