Water Conditions: Excellent

The water is a little off from "gin clear" but the flows are up a little and drifts are easier. Cold mornings are making for tough fishing 'tll the sun hits the water so sleep in, have breakfast and wander out there about 10 am and be ready at 11 am. C2

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good

The surfaced road to the Interpretive Center and beyond as far as gate to Hot Creek is plowed. The access road off the main road to the Interpretive Center and the road beyond Hot Creek Ra The gate to the canyon section is closed so you will have a little walk.

Not much change in the recipe . . . start with small midges early, then when the chow bell rings between 11 and noon go bigger and buggier. S ome BWO action midday usually and reports are everyone is saying it is great fishing until about 2 pm then it shuts off abruptly.
