Clackamas River Report

Winter steelhead are distributed through the Clackamas, although effort and catch rates are fairly low, and state and county boat ramps are currently closed.
USGS hydrological data for April 1 shows river flows at3,350 cfs, water temperature hovering around 42° F, and the gauge height at 13.32 ft., which is ideal for winter steelhead fishing. All of the readings come from the Estacada gauge near Milo McIver State Park. Hydrologic data and river forecasts can also be accessed on the NOAA/National Weather Service NW River Forecast Center -- NW River Forecast Center.
