Pyramid Lake Fishing Report

3-1-2020
Pyramid Lake Staff

Although the bite for stripers and bass have been tough, people have had luck trolling throughout the lake for stripers and using lugworms or nightcrawlers from the shore. Heavy Kastmasters, umbrella rigs, and deep diving baits have worked best while trolling. Bass have been biting more soft plastics such as roboworms or senkos but have been caught off deep diving jerkbaits and crankbaits throughout the day. Catfish are still biting pretty consistently in coves and along sandy banks down deep on sardines and anchovies. Hot spots from the shore over the past week have been along the canal by the entrance booth and fish cleaning station and also the rip rap in front of the boat shop for stripers and trout. Most people have been using lugworms and anchovies for stripers and either nightcrawlers, mice tails, or powerbait for the trout.

Current Hours are from 7am - 5pm.
Boat rentals go until 1pm and are due back by 3pm.
Private Watercrafts are due off water by 4pm.
Front gates are closed by 5pm.
