Yep its me with a limit of rainbow trout. I landed while fishing from shore using a lil jakes spin a lure in the gold with red spots. These are some nice fish that our federal hatchery is providing for all our anglers. The Willow Beach Hatchery is taking great pride is raising these fish. With our stocking program getting close to an end I encourage our local and visiting anglers to make a visit to Community Park to throw out a line and have some great outdoor fun. The shore line is full of opportunities to land a verity of fish. We have trout and a few stripped bass in that area along with an occasional channel cat might even be a small mouth bass looking for a meal. This action all depends on your bait, line, presentation and of course the retrieve. You will want a good knot, fresh line and remember to set the drag on your reel so you don’t get spooled or break the knot. For you trout anglers I am hearing that night crawlers are working well along with power bait in orange yellow and a pink has been working super, spinners are great for some nice action as these fish will do some out of the water jumping. The striper action is usually anchovies that work the best for bait fishing but hasn’t been producing well as of yet, not sure why. The glide baits and various hard lures are working along our shore lines up and down the Colorado river here below the Davis dam. Its been mostly in the trout pattern along with a white or bone color that’s been producing the best.

I have not heard of any activity up on Lake Mohave but our wind has been keeping most off and out of going out on the lake. Even the Marsh has been a bit quit. With that I am saying its trout and stripers in the community park area along with the casino area that are your best area to target so far.
