In my 39 years of fishing Clear Lake both occasionally and full time the last 19 I’ve caught many of the lake’s fish. Black Bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, green eared sunfish, red eared sunfish, Tule perch, Sacramento perch, black crappie, white crappie, Clear Lake Hitch, channel cats, yellow cats (I think), black fish, prickly sculpin, carp, and buffalo....think that is all of them. Add mudsucker to the list...twice this week. And the one today was spitting up leeches like nobody’s business. I counted 23 of them on the step after I let the fish go.
