High Water and Tough Conditions

Winter steelhead fishing has slowed with the high water and tough conditions over the last week. Unfortunately, the forecasted rainstorms this week will likely have the river blown out through the week and into the weekend.
Expect more fish to be around the Whitaker Creek area when the river is fishable again with some good opportunities awaiting.
Lake Creek opened for winter steelhead fishing on Dec. 1. Steelhead fishing should pick up after the rainstorms that will have the river high and off-color for most of this week..
