Hello everyone;

It’s half way through the fishing trip, and all I can say is WOW!!!   We’ve had good fishing for the trip, and it seems it’s not letting up.  The quality of the fish is getting better, and the only thing we are missing, is Wahoo.  But with lots of time, that could change.

We had some 50 to 70 pound fish, but the majority of the fish was that 120 to 140 range, and a few in the 160 to 175 range.  We haven’t seen the COW’s yet, hopefully coming soon.

If your looking for limited load, this is the trip for you, at one point in the day there were only 4 fisherman at the rail, and two of those were on the kite.  I don’t know if they are getting beat-up, or just enjoying their vacation.  During that time, crew-member Doug, got a bait, and bang, after a short battle, a nice 160 pound Yellowfin hit the deck (Blacken Tuna In The Galley).

Weather today was a bit windy, and challenging  for Big “D”, he would put a kite up with a balloon, then the wind would pick up, he take the balloon’s off, and the wind would die down, but by the afternoon, mother-nature had her fun with him and settled down to a nice steady 12 to 15 knots.  The skies were overcast, and almost looked like we might get some rain, but that was not the chance.  Not much more to report, so until fingers and keyboard meet again, good luck and good fishing.

We would like to give a big happy birthday  to KO from SO, hope your having a good tine with the kids and girl friends on your birthday, and thank you for letting me go fishing during this tine frame.  See you soon.

Hello everyone;   Let’s start like this, it 03:30, your sleeping good, and you here, wake up time to make bait.  Your arms are scorer, your back hurts, and you legs are saying stay in bed.  But there’s no substitute  for live bait and lots of it.  Then you realize it’s not a dream, it’s Roy waking you up to make bait.  As soon as bait making is over, you move to the spot, and it didn’t take long for the Yellowfin to......
