It has been quite week plus. Later week was the Sacramento sportsman Expo which was awesome and thanks to everyone who came by booked trips and said hi!! Then it was rush home Sunday and back on water with my long client an friend John and his stepson Nic for an awesome 3 day cast and blast adventure.

Ambushing Ducks and Steelhead on the Klamath was a blast this week. John Nic and I covered 50 miles of river and were successful each day in completing the blast and cast adventure bring home some nice ducks and geese as well as catching and releasing some beautiful Steelhead.

The fish were all caught on plugs back trolling or casting. 3.0 and 3.5 Maglips and Rapalas covered in ProCure Carpspit help us hook up on some hard fighting fish. Checkout the pictures

Winter Steelhead fishing will continue on the Klamath weather permitting of course. One thing we have to watch this time of year rain an snow can always cause some issues.

Nice thing about the Klamath is the upper stretch is always fish able despite the weather, so if you local water is blown up and muddy come see me I can probably help get that you your winter fishing fix. If for some reason we cannot get the river then I have some wonderful lake opportunities. Lake Siskiyou, McCloud Reservoir and Shasta Lake all provide some Winter choices.

Give me a call 530 905 0758 or book online at Caldwellfishing.com and let's put a fishing trip together here in the next few months.
