Captain Justin Thompson put todays clients on some good Trinity River steelhead fishing again today.  What a great day to be on the Trinity!  No rain, no snow, just beautiful weather and bright steelies!  We have plenty of openings this month and next before Justin heads to the coast to fish for big, bright steelhead on the Smith River.  If you wish to get into some remarkable steelhead fishing this winter, now is your chance.  2 party drift boat trips are among the most enjoyable fishing trips we offer and living and guiding in northern California allows us to offer some pretty exceptional experiences for our clients.  All of our river fishing venues offer some great steelhead fishing opportunities at some point in the year.  This year, the Trinity River has been very good to us and lots of steelhead have gone in the net on nearly every trip Justin has guided for clients.  With a little luck, the Smith River will provide the same kind of solid fishing results the Trinity River has provided thus far as well.  Justin will be fishing the Trinity in his Willie drift boat until February when he moves over to the Smith River near Crescent City.  We have some great dates lined up for our clients in February, or for new anglers/clients who want to fish the Smith River with Justin this year.  Most of our February dates will be run consecutively so we're recommending two day steelhead trips to make the most of this opportunity.  Call Jaynie at the office to set up your steelhead fishing trips this winter on the Trinity and Smith Rivers with elite guide, Captain Justin Thompson.  (530) 510-2925, thank you!
