Flow Rates and Water Conditions:
Water Conditions: Good
Flows are at 159 cfs as of 12/5
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good
The fishing has been good on the Lower Owens now that the flows have dropped. Like everywhere else, this time of year midges are the only hatch going but they're eating plenty of other nymphs. Try Pheasant Tail and Hare's Ear in different styles. Mornings have been more productive than afternoons so it's not a bad idea to be on the water by 9.
Recommended Flies
DRIES: Midge patterns but very little surface activity
NYMPH: Pheasant Tail #14-22 | Hares Ear #16-22 | Zebra Midge #18-22
