Hi Gang,
Yesterday was one of those days you always hope you get to experience on a long range trip. We had flat clam, warm weather. The water temp was 80 degrees and the air temp was about the same. From shortly after first light, we had big fish around the boat and every bait that went out was a potential cow. The first fish of the day was a 207# landed by Bryant Tillotson. The next three fish were a 256# landed by Eric Nolte, a 277# landed by Guy Gilchrist, and 285# landed by Doug Delany. Everything we hooked was huge. We lost at least 4 other bites throughout the morning due to the random events that happen when you're fishing big fish. We landed 3 other fish in the afternoon that went 80#, 120#, and 150#. All in all it was a great day with solid opportunities at landing a fish of a life time. Our time at targeting giants is over and we are currently working up the Baja Penninsula. Our weather is nice and we have high hopes for the rest of this trip. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
