The beat goes on with continued good catches of halibut and striped bass. The striped bass are still holding off the rock piles while the halibut are being caught on the Berkeley Flats, Angel Island, and Alameda Rockwall drifting live anchovies.

Outside the Gate In the salt waters of the Pacific Ocean anglers continued to produce quality limits of rockfish along with some good-sized lingcod. Some salmon making an appearance of the Marin coastline and along Muir Beach Note; the Dungeness crab pot pulling season begins on Saturday, November 2.
