This time of year we can get some of our larger fish here along the Colorado river. Our local angler Kenan Guleryuz landed this striper while fishing from shore in the Rotary park area. He was throwing one of his favorite lures and landed this striper which weighed in at 24.26 pounds and was 42 and 3/4 inches. Kenan later told me there was nothing in its gut. It did seem a bit lite for this length of fish.
