515 Rockfish and 1 Lingcod

For today the wind was too much for the boats to make it out to the islands, so they fished up the coast. In moderately deep water, both the ¾ day and ½ day boats fished within sight of each other, and caught all sorts of Rockfish. If you fished hard, a bag limit was easily achievable even though the conditions were less than ideal. But not everyone comes out to simply catch fish. For some, it’s about getting away from the stresses of everyday life, and simply enjoying a day with friends and family, turning the cell phone off, and maybe catch a few fish. For some, it’s all about a double bacon cheeseburger washed down with a cold one.
