The striper bite here along the Colorado river below the Davis dam has slowed a bit and our trout stocking program will be up and running this week. The willow beach hatchery should be stocking soon if all goes according to plan I would look for trout stocking around this coming Tuesday as a guess . There are stripers out there and our local angler Randy Brown brought in a nice 2.52 pound striper that he landed fishing from his dock using his favorite swim bait. In this case it was a glide swimmer proved to work well.
