A welcome, highly motivating change of pace today targeting variety in scenery and species. Limited access due to weather and time normally restricts the zones that yielded some fine action today on trophy class yellowtail and better size yellowfin tuna. It wasn’t easy, and never is, but the rewards were great. Even one fish in this size class earned hard through pure determination and grit is a worthy reward providing huge satisfaction.

In the end today was a perfect example of what this magical destination is all about - the opportunity to experience fishing and scenery rarely found anywhere else. Grateful for the reward we’ll give it another go tomorrow. Time is still on our side.

Photo today features our friend and fine Royal Star angler Blaine De Brouwer with his beautiful, 45 pound class yellowtail. Landed mid morning after a couple in a row before this reamed him in the rocks the prior heartbreaks made the victory that much more sweet. Yes Sir!!

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
