Constant weather changes for Sac River salmon
9-24-2019
Jeff Goodwin
One day its rain gear and the next its shorts and a T-shirt to howling winds. Either way we're making due. The upper river is full of salmon and we're catching salmon daily. Some days the bite is really good, and some days its not good to miss any bites you do get. More fish are pushing up river so fishing from here on out should continue to improve through mid October.
Jeff Goodwin is a full time Northern California fishing guide. He guides year round for salmon, trout, steelhead, Kokanee, and bass on Northern California rivers and lakes. He fishes many bodies of water in the Redding area, but also guides the Sacramento River and Feather River during certain times of the year. Jeff can also be found on the California coast chasing ocean fresh King salmon and steelhead each year.
