Striper Boils Are Popping Up All Over The Lake
9-18-2019
Nevada Department of Wildlife
Anglers had a great weekend as weather cooperated for the monthly Striper Club tournament. Striper boils were popping up all over the lake. Anglers experienced in catching live bait are finding the best action for striped bass. The best fishing has been taking place during the overnight hours with action slowing down by 7 a.m. Anglers are also catching catfish, bass, and crappie out of Echo Bay. Catfish have mainly been taking anchovies but are also hitting worms. Bass are biting on weighted plastics at the edge of deep vegetation.
