Good Lingcod Bite Today

8-28-2019
Dockside Charters Staff

The Rockfish bite a little slower today than it has been but the Ling Cod bit well. Good variety on fish even with the species restrictions. Crabbing varied from not very good to reasonable catches (1-5 per person).

No Coho fishing until this Saturday (August 31).

No Long Leader scheduled for today.

Although the conditions offshore were less than ideal (windy and very choppy) the Outer Limits prevailed and brought home 3 Tuna per person. Tough conditions and the bulk of the fish were caught on the troll, only one fish caught on light tackle.

We got notice from ODFW that Halibut is going to a two fish per day limit due to the high amount of quota left on the table. Unfortunately we have NO space available.

Make your reservation now so you don't miss out. Remember, Dockside does not overcrowd the boats, that means more room to fish of course, providing you with a premium trip. Online reservations are an option also, you can make a reservation on a space available basis even the day before the trip. Don't miss out.
