The flat ocean hung on through mid week and the water got warmer and warmer until the Ling Cod went on lock down. Half limits at best if the fisherman really fished hard. No free lunches. The rock fish didn't mind it so much so we had lots of color to keep it interesting. Wednesday the wind blew us off until Sunday. We got a kickback for again full limits if you were fishing your gear with slow steady little jigs. Crab limits were the rule. Bay trolling still a fish or three is you're lucky.
