El Capitan Reservoir Fishing Report

El Capitan Lake Staff
All the shad this year is really improving the size of the bass. 5-6 pound bass being caught daily here at El Capitan. A couple night tournaments were here this weekend. Friday night winner has a 3 fish bad weighing 17 pounds! Shoreline fishing is getting tough because of the here and the bugs. The North Arm is still the hot spot! The Bluegill bite has slowed down some bit still attainable with some work. The Catfish seem to be bing at the most random times but at least why are being caught.
