Sac River salmon fishing heats up!
8-15-2019
Jeff Goodwin
Captains Justin Thompson and Kenny Turner were on the Sac River again today chasing King salmon. It seems there are a few more fish in the system now as catch rates continue to slowly improve and the presence of salmon rolling in the holes tells us we have more fish around than we did last week. Last nights full moon should kick the salmon's upstream migration into high gear and we'll start to see some better numbers of fish caught daily. Stay tuned for daily reports on the Sacramento River salmon fishing.
