Big Hungry
The Vagabond checked in from their 3 day trip with 10 Bluefin Tuna from 150 lbs to 290 lbs.
The Chief returned this morning with 8 Bluefin tuna (80 lbs to 301 lbs), 7 Yellowtail, and 60 Calico Bass for their 21 anglers.
The Mission Belle’s full day trip returned with 4 Yellowtail, 5 Barracuda, 3 Sculpin, 3 Sheephead, 10 Calico Bass, 14 Rockfish and 62 Whitefish.
The Point Loma's afternoon 1/2 day trip returned with 85 Sand Bass and 10 Rockfish.
The Success called in from their 3 day trip with 8 Bluefin Tuna, which include 5 over 300 lbs. The smallest came in at 172 lbs with the biggest weighing in at 327 lbs.
The New Lo-An, Success and T-Bird all have overnight trips departing on Thursday night. Please call our ticket office to book one of these trips.
The 1/2 day boat Point Loma departs at 8:30 am for fishing at the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Ticket price is $52 for adults, $42 for seniors or active duty military and $37 for juniors. A California fishing license is additional. The Point Loma is now offering two trips a day 7 days a week. Departure times are at 8:30 am and at 3:00 pm.
The Mission Belle has Full Day Coronado Islands trips scheduled every day. These trips will be fishing for Yellowtail, Bass, Rockfish and other local species. Ticket price is $155 and includes your Mexican fishing license. A VALID PASSPORT OR PASSPORT CARD ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS TRIP.
Effective June 26, 2019 Point Loma Sportfishing has made some changes to the way we process payments. A small processing fee (3.5%) will be applied to all credit card transactions. Previously this cost was included in our prices but due to rising costs it needs to be factored separately. Thank you for your understanding

Capt. Alan returned with the El Capitan from their 1.5 day trip with 10 Dorado and 4 Yellowtail for their 12 anglers. Capt. Rick Russell aboard the Chief checked in with 5 Bluefin Tuna, one that taped out at 310lbs, one at 295lbs, one at 289lbs, one at 140lbs and the final at 130lbs..
