Fish Report for 7-29-2019
On June 29th, 13-year old Caleb W. caught a 9-and-a-half pound catfish! He was using a small night crawler and was fishing from the bald cypress grove.

Contra Loma ReservoirTROUT Trout fishing has slowed down as the water temperature increased and we prepare to start stocking catfish for the summer. We recommend fishing with Powerbait, lures, or nightcrawlers for the trout. Try fishing at the boat ramp area, or the Channel Point dock areas. Right now the trout seem to be congregating near the swim lagoon. CATFISH Try fishing for catfish at Channel Point or Loma Island with anchovies, nightcrawlers or chicken livers.
