Largemouth Bass can be found around structure. Big bass of the week belonged to Logan Kellums of Phoenix, Az. And weighed 7.00#s. Mr. Kellums caught and released his bass by employing a Texas rig off the South Shore Rock Pile.

Catfish were stocked yesterday and are currently biting in Boat Dock Cove as well as their usual haunts. Lake Wohlford cats prefer chicken liver or cut mackerel.

Crappie are being caught in the early morning amongst rocky outcroppings close to shore and by boaters trolling for them. Crappie are most often caught using shiners and a variety of mini-jigs, white ones in particular.

Largemouth Bass are being caught on a variety of crank-baits. The bass gravitate toward structure and bite best in the early mornings and late afternoons. Catfish can be found throughout the lake.
