Channel Islands Sportfishing
Today’s Fish Count: 10 Boats and 268 Anglers.
952 Rockfish, 463 Whitefish, 117 Perch, 20 Opaleye, 13 Lingcod, 55 Sheephead, 15 Sculpin, 14 Barracuda, 15 Bonito, 2 Halibut, 289 Calico Bass, 2 Sand Bass, 14 Yellowtail, and 74 White Seabass.
The Channel Islands has been enjoying a long stretch of good fishing combined with great weather! Today the White Seabass made a showing and the boats managed to get a good shot at these elusive fish. If you’re hoping to get in on the action, be sure to sign up now. Spots are filling up fast for this upcoming week. If you only have a day trip in mind, the local island fishing has also picked up. Calico Bass fishing is simply outstanding, then throw in a chance of hooking a Yellow or Seabass, and then finishing the day loading up on shallow water bottom fish. In our eyes, it doesn’t get much better than this!
