A Thousand Words

They say “a picture is worth a thousand words”. When it comes to fishing these bluefin at present I’ve got a thousand words for them; none of which I’d want to say in front of my mother.

Next level frustration for us today. Career. They didn’t break us, and never will, but we were teetering on the edge a few times. Man what a mind bending exercise in standard defying repetitious defeat.

Day’s end restored some faith. Gigantic foamers erupted and actually cooperated to some extent. The imagery alone was so spectacular that it somewhat overrode the agony of so many hours spent trying school after school pining for a chance. And it kept us in the game.

Not ones to cry or quit we’ll be on the big fish, offshore grounds tomorrow. The beautiful fish we did land, and the potential, are far too great. And, with a fine catch of yellows at rest in the RSW tanks, this is what we are positioned for. A new day awaits.

Photo today features a quick shot snapped as we rolled into one of many giant evening foamers. How’s this for getting the adrenaline pumping?

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
