Big Hungry
The full day boat, Mission Belle checked in with 30+ Yellowtail for the day with plenty of time remaining in the trip. Capt Tony reported excellent signs of Yellowtail at the Coronado Islands right now.
The New Lo-An called in this afternoon with 3 Bluefin Tuna (30#'s to 70#'s) for their 7 passengers. The NLA is on a 1½ day trip, so check back for more updates......
The Point Loma's PM 1/2 day trip yesterday, returned with 16 Calico Bass, 38 released Calico Bass, 5 Sand Bass, 1 Sculpin and 6 Rockfish for 16 passengers.
Departing Wednesday night:
The New Lo-An 1.5 day trip departs at 8 PM. Ticket price is $390 and includes your bunk and Mexican fishing permit. This Trip Is a Definite Go with only 6 passengers booked at this time!
The Chief also has a 1.5 day trip departs at 8 PM. Ticket price is $390 and includes your bunk and Mexican fishing permit. This Trip Is a Definite Go with only 7 passengers booked at this time!
The T-Bird has an overnight trip departing at 9 PM. Ticket price is $225 and includes your bunk and Mexican fishing permit.
Upcoming Local Trips:
The 1/2 day boat Point Loma departs at 8:30 am for fishing at the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Ticket price is $52 for adults, $42 for seniors or active duty military and $37 for juniors. A California fishing license is additional. The Point Loma is now offering two trips a day 7 days a week. Departure times are at 8:30 am and at 3:00 pm.
The Mission Belle has full day Coronado Islands trips scheduled every day. These trips will be fishing for Yellowtail, Bass, Rockfish and other local species. Ticket price is $155 and includes your Mexican fishing license. PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS TRIP!
Effective June 26, 2019 Point Loma Sportfishing has maked some changes to the way we process payments. A small processing fee (3.5%) will be applied to all credit card transactions. Previously this cost was included in our prices but due to rising costs it needs to be factored separately. Thank you for your understanding

The Chief returned from their 1.5 day trip this morning with 2 Bluefin Tuna up to 90 lbs and 3 Yellowfin. The El Capitan has returnef from their last 2.5 day trip with 9 Bluefin Tuna, 8 Yellowtail, and 7 Yellowfin.
