Sometimes on the last and this week we had good weather with calm water on the morning, but with high temperatures and humid, the breeze pick up at noon to afternoon time and give better feel or alleviate a the hot sensation. The temperatures 77?? to 96?? F. Highest and humidity 75% today, this must to that a low pressure is coming near to the Baja California and possibly we have rains in the next days.
Dorado's, definitively on these two weeks we have begun to register the Dorado's on smaller sizes, with a weight between 15 to 25 pounds, and few with a bigger sizes like 30 to 40 pounds and the number of the captures continues on a good numbers of them, also the limits of the Dorado's still minimum on a 90 %.
The last weekend we had the Annual Dorado Tournament that was promoted by Ronny Kovach from Sport Fox West with very little participation of fishermen, 9 equipment were only those who fished in this Tournament, perhaps because we are at the end of season.
We show a photo of the weekend with captain Andres with its friendly and on the scale good ones Dorado with a weight around 40 pounds.
The best sites of Dorado's captures are Under San Bruno reef in a distance approximated of 8 to 10 miles north of Loreto, also from this place to the east under El Bajo del Medio, 20 miles North of Loreto, some captures have registered on the Puerto Almeja reef 30 miles north from Loreto.
Sailfish and stripper marlin is located in the same Dorado's areas and reported to many, sometimes is good to run away from the schools of sailfish because not give opportunity to capture the Dorado's.
Mackerel: Available on Coronado or from Loreto, catching your own or buy it early morning at the marine, at the price of 10 pieces for $ 15.00 U.S. and 20 pieces for $ 25.00 U.S.
