Shasta Lake Summer Bass and Bow's
6-14-2019
Scott Caldwell
Shasta is beginning to head into the Summer season. The lake is full and with wood debris floating all over so caution going fast.
Trolling for fat hungry Trout is one of the best options all summer. These Shasta Lake Trout are feeding like mad on baby shad and will fatten up thought out the summer. Bass are also feeding on them as well and can be a fun change of pace.
Yesterday, we were out on the water for a few hours late morning to early afternoon. The bite was definitely better for both Bass and Trout before noon.
