Good morning folks. We started the second fall season 5 day trip offshore. Most of the day was spotty with just a couple of kelps with very little fish. With scattered jig strikes that served to stop the shortly throughout the day. The afternoon brought the heavy action. With the help from the guys kelp that was marked from the day before, we found excellent action on 22 to 28 pound tuna and nice size Dorado in the mix. Thanks to Brian and Sam on the American Angler we were able to spot this kelp paddy with a marker that they had marked the day before. Wide open tuna fishing was experienced 2 days in a row from two different boats. Now that's team work.

With a nice catch on offshore fish we decided to head to Guadalupe in search of trophy size tuna. With the reports from the last few days the prospects look goo on tuna up to 90 pounds. Let's hope it continues. We will be getting started soon as it is 3:30 in the morning and our arrival is set for 5:00.

Report will hopefully be good after today.

In the afternoon we tried for yellows with not much success and then just a few tuna late to end with 49 four the day. We are going to...... Read More
