Catfish Stock Before Memorial Day Weekend

5-15-2019
Nevada Department of Wildlife

Night crawlers, mealworms, and PowerBait grubs are working well for stocked bluegill. Largemouth bass are taking plastics and spinnerbaits in most of the ponds. The Nevada Department of Wildlife has plans to stock catfish prior to Memorial Day weekend at Veterans’ Memorial Park, Lorenzi Park and Floyd Lamb Park. Sunset Park will not receive fish because the aeration system at Sunset Lake is not currently functioning.
