Bluefin Tuna Near West Edge
5-4-2019
Todd Fraser
The Salmon fishing was slow today near the Soquel Hole. There were a few Salmon caught in 200 feet of water near Mulligan Hill. The good thing to report is that there are Bluefin Tuna near the west edge of the Soquel Hole. There were reports of 40-50 pound Bluefin at 36'50/122'00 36'47/122'02. There have been a few fish hooked up on Poppers, Cedar Plugs, Flat Falls, and Hoochies. There were a few confirmed Bluefin caught on Cedar Plugs near Soquel Hole. It seems like the warm water push has come and the tuna are here! The weather was nice today.
