Here is Newport Landing Sportfishing's Schedule for this week/weekend & early next week (Sept 11-Sept 18):

The Aggressor has a open party overnight trip leaving Thursday night (Sept 11) at 10pm fishing Friday (Sept 12). Limited to 18 anglers at $189. Currently there are 9 spots open.

Fishing offshore has been pretty good with a mix of yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, dorado, and yellowtail. 30 to 40 mixed fish with that many more lost is the norm lately. Pretty good fishing.

The Amigo has a open party overnight trip leaving Monday (Sept 15) fishing Tuesday (Sept 16). Limited to 18 anglers at $189. The Aggressor has a open party 2 day trip leaving Weds (Sept 17) at 10 pm fishing Thurs (Sept 18) & Friday (Sept 19). Limited to 16 anglers at $375. This trip should be a fun one. Currently 11 spots open for this trip.

For this weekend we will only have a open party twilight trip for this Saturday (Sept 13). For Sunday (Sept 14) we will have a limited load extended ?? day trip on the Patriot. Departs at 6am returns at 6pm and limited to only 35 anglers at $95. They will be fishing Catalina Island targeting yellowtail. The Patriot is running open party ?? day trips daily during the week. Also I was thinking about setting up some afternoon ?? day trips to fish Catalina Island let me know if that sounds like something you would be interested in? The afternoon bite can be really good and be the only boat around. Well let me know and I will set some up.

The Nautilus will be running a morning and afternoon ?? day trip for Sunday (Sept 14). Both are open party and have about 11 reservations for each trip currently.

Also there is a 1 ?? day private charter fishing Sunday (Sept 21). Departs Saturday (Sept 20) at 9pm. This trip is limited to 20 anglers and Doug (charter master) has 7 spots to fill.
