Today we had a guides day on the Sacramento River in Redding and boy did we have a balst fishing  out of Kenny Turners 25' Alumaweld Super Vee jet boat.  Sac River rainbow trout trips are a blast right now and with big, safe boats captained by seasoned guides, the higher than normal flows are providing for some really good fishing.  We only fished for 3-4 hours but easily landed over 20 nice fish.  I highly recommend this fishery to families or just a group of good friends right now.  Theres no real skill required and Justin or Kenny know how to get clients on the fish.  Its spring break for a lot of people and this is a great way to spend one of your days introducing your kids to fishing or just providing one of those exceptional days of fishing they'll experience in their lifetime.  We're drift fishing with ultra light spin rods and that makes the fishing all the more fun!
