Trout Are Starting to Bite

San Pablo Reservoir checked in today with an update on fishing conditions and a picture of a recent catch:

With the nice weather the trout are starting to bite. The water clarity is still murky but it is starting to settle. Best bet is power-bait in bright colors.

People are Catching trout here and there.  The water conditions are muddy.  For best results use power bait with extra scent on it.  The trout will hit on scent not on the color of the powerboat.  Green Pumpkin and Hatchery pellet Chartruese Garlic are a good choice. ...... Read More
